Public views, attitudes, and opinions are key to the planning process, and stakeholder involvement will be encouraged at each step of the way. The following formal Plan adoption process will occur:

• The public has an opportunity to review the draft Plan
• County and municipal plan consistency is our goal.
• The SAPA Plan Committee approves and submits the Plan to municipal officials
• Public Hearings are conducted on the final draft of the Plan and public input is documented
• The SAPA Committee and municipal officials adopt the Plan
